Building Blocks for Learning
opened for business in Janesville, Wisconsin in October, 2005. Owned by sisters, Jeanne Schaffer and Kay MacGowan, it is a store filled with educational materials, games and toys to “make learning fun” for children, their parents and teachers.
With a strong interest in education inherent in both sisters, the store and associated Learning Academy are ways to help make learning a creative, meaningful and stimulating experience for everyone.
Their aim is to provide teachers and parents in Southern Wisconsin a complete education resource center that combines unmatched customer service with a premium selection of educational books and supplies, teaching materials, art supplies and educational toys.
Extending this philosophy and interest in education to their website, Kay and Jeanne offer to you in the online store the same educational products and toys that you would find in their retail store while being able to avail yourself of the convenience of online shopping.
